Essential Oils Available in our Cebu Flower Shop

Cebu Flower Shop - Our flower shop in Cebu, Philippines will be introducing new products in the next months to come. We will be selling pure essential oils from Young Living, doTERRA, Plant Therapy and other brands. We offer a lot of add on items when you order flowers with us.

Essential oils are extracted from the plant, flower, stem, roots, gum resin, or needles or some part of a plant for its therapeutic value. We will definitely sell only pure aromatic essential oils. One branch of alternative medicine is AROMATHERAPY. This will be using aromatic essential oils on a more controlled level and informed used of these oils.

Here in Cebu, we are working closely with a certified Essential Oil Specialist and Aromatherapist to make sure we only sell  quality and tested products on our flower shop.


There are three main methods to use essential oils. These are the ff:

Aromatically

One can simply open the bottle of the essential oil and inhale it for about 3 to 4 seconds.

If you have an electric or ultrasonic diffuser at home, you can add the essential oils and diffuse it in the air. There are essential oils when dispersed in the air have antimicrobial, antibacterial and antiviral properties and they can definitely cleanse the air.

Topically

When you go massage spas, you will often hear of massage oils with peppermint or lavender. Because of its therapeutic value, these common essential oils are used by massage therapists to facilitate that holistic well-being.


However, just like using any products directly applied on the skin, we highly suggest you do a SKIN TEST for like 1 drop of the essential oil and observe it for 24 hours for any allergic reaction or irritation.

Orally

Not all essential oils can be taken internally. There are only selected essential oils that can be ingested. However, having said so, it still on a controlled dosage. As recommended by our certified Essential Oil Specialist, 1 to 2 drops is safe if taken internally. Of course, as a caution, only select essential oils like lemon can be ingested. Always check labels and instructions if you are not sure of the oils you have.

Ingesting 20 drops or more of the essential withing 24 hours is already harmful and toxic to the body. So be always cautious.
